Peep the final in the b-boy battle at last month’s Life Elevated jam! It was Slinky vs. Demonio in the finals– Demonio ended up winning. This was one of the illest battles I’ve seen in a LONG time! Who will win this month’s battle? Peep the line up on the Life Elevated Facebook page here: www.facebook.com/lifelevated

This is a video from Glenn Beck the other night.  I found it really inspirational.  It helped me understand my role as a parent of 3 little children and what their role will be in the future.  It is our responsibility, our duty to teach our children the history of this great nation, and the principles this country was founded upon.  If we don’t, the fall of this great nation will be upon our heads.  I truly believe it is our children who will save this country.

It’s on and crackin!  I’ll be performing my new single “BackSpin” at the next Life Elevated show Dec. 1st at The Muse Music Cafe (151 N. University Ave) in Provo, UT.  There will also be a highly anticipated DJ battle– DJ Skratchmo vs. DJ Electronic Battleship, as well as a 16 person invitational B-Boy battle!  This event is gonna be H Y P E!  Be there! Only $2, all ages.  Show starts at 8pm.

Well, it’s FINALLY here! My latest single “BackSpin” is out now! It took a bit longer than usual to get this one out for some reason. The track features one of my good friends DJ Raydn1. I actually produced the beat almost 5 years ago when we were visiting some friends in Texas. I had some free time and was looking for a completely different sound, but this one kinda produced itself and came out a banger. I wanted to bring back the nostalgia of the original days when hip hop was just starting to catch on. I remember back in elementary school breakdancing on a piece of cardboard during recess while blasting the boombox. We even had a school-sponsored breakdance contest at Downey Elementary in Cortez, Colorado haha. It was those days I wanted to help people remember with the lyrics, all while throwing in some underground hip hop metaphorical stuff. I recorded the lyrics in my office at Arizona State University a few late nights I was working haha. Hope my old boss doesn’t see that one! lol Once DJ Raydn1 put the cuts on, it gave it that classic boom-bap original hip hop sound it needed. Hope you like it and be sure to share this with your friends on the web!
